GOOD MORNING from the hot Central Valley. Do I sound all chipper? Yeah, turns out not so much. But LOOKY HERE!! Look what I found in the RV cupboard. Not one, but TWO more cans of my sweet coffee.
It was kismet ... because I think my allergies have turned into a full blown old fashioned cold. I didn't think these even existed any more, but alas, that may be it.
No sore throat and no fever, but my head is plugged up like my vacuum cleaner! The pain was real, followed by bouts of sneezing which made me think my head was going to explode.
I finally gave in and took two pills ... I won't tell you what because it's probably not doctor approved ... but at least I was able to breathe better, the pain in my head subsided and I actually got some sleep on the couch. Therefore, no pictures of anything boring happening on the home front.
In the meantime, I'm savoring my cup-o-jo that has APR 2023 on the can. Yeah, it tastes like really old powdered milk. Maybe I'll stir up the can a bit and try for a second cup.
The SnEEzInG fits continue .......... now to clean up the coffee I spilled on the floor from the last one!
Woohoo! You better make those last!
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon and what a Bonus...you found more coffee.

Glad you found more coffee!
ReplyDeleteRest up kiddo if you can.
Frances:)
Mr. Ed’s Said can’t stand a woman crying over coffee. Hundred proof Bourbon, yes, coffee no.
ReplyDeleteAfter those two containers, I think you’re just going to have to learn to bite the bullet. It seems like you only have two choices, syrup, or orange, flavored infused, coffee bean.
Or DARK CHOCOLATE ORANGE HOT COCOA BY COCOA SIPS
If you make it yourself Just do a 50-50 50% coffee at 50% orange hot chocolate it’ll taste like a latte
But if it’s bourbon, one ice cube is more than sufficient, but with or without an ice cube it’ll still give you a good kick in the ass
Sorry to hear about your cold. I have similar issues but mine is full blown sinus/allergy issues and comes and goes. Nice you found some stash of your coffee. I would put it in a large bowl and really stir it up and then back in the containers as the ingredients have probably really settled to the bottom since the container was filled during the manufacturing process. Good luck and take care.
