Oh what a night does not do it justice. I'm exhausted after getting home at midnight and thrashing around the house with the worst leg cramps I've had in ages. What's up with THAT?
Here we are in the lodge with the biggest crowd ever!!
Once I recover, I'll fill you in.
Praying your leg cramps go away. They are no fun!
ReplyDeleteFrances:)
That was awful!!
DeleteSorry about the leg cramps. They are so painful.
ReplyDeleteSurely not fun!
DeleteRE your leg cramps..I've had them for many, many years with no relief until recently. You might want to try Hylands Naturals Leg Cramps Ointment A friend suggested the pills by Hyland but I've found the ointment works for me. Not all the time but most times application of the cream does relax the area and stop the cramp. It may just be the massage action but what ever it is, it does work wonders. ( I suggested the Sweet Valdalia Onion salad dressing to you so have I every steered you wrong?)
ReplyDeleteNo you have not ... I LOVE that salad dressing!!! I'll see if I can find it online.
DeleteGood day to rest!! Hope the pain is short lived.
ReplyDeleteI might just need more salt. We shall see.
DeleteI hate to hear about you suffering from leg cramps. You are likely low on salt and magnesium. When I feel leg cramps coming on, I take a teaspoon of salt in warm to hot water and I add some magnisium to it too. Take it even if you a get the cramps and they will go away sooner. I have magnesium powder, but you can likely get it in pill form. Drinking salt in warm or hot water makes it much easier to take, almost no real salty flavor. Through the years, I found this works and if taken soon enough, you can avoid the cramps. I can usually detect cramps coming on in my feet first. If no magnesium, at least take the salt. This works. I just put a glass of water in the microwave for a minute with the salt in it and add the magnesium after. More salt in your system can also stop you feeling tired out as you can get that from low salt too. Maybe if you take that about once a week or so, you could avoid those nasty cramps.

That was my first thought.
DeleteGood long well deserved blog break!
ReplyDeleteIt took awhile for my brain to wake up!! I was so mad after the meeting that I took one tiny sleeping pill. They make me pretty rummy!
DeleteThis is what works for me.
ReplyDeleteMag Relief….pure magnesium lotion.
I got mine on Amazon..$22. Made by JigSaw. Recommended by my holistic Dr.
Free of harmful ingredients. It’s in a pump form…a cream
I put it on my legs before bed. It works. I wouldn’t be without it.
Truth is ….the majority of people are magnesium deficient due to our soils.
I have no doubt that is the problem. Someone decided salt was bad for you and they took it out of everything.
DeleteLeg cramps are horrible when I would get a lot I would like to have a hot bath, it helped a lot
ReplyDeleteIt's weird how they happen and how much they can hurt.
DeleteHope your leg cramps have disappearred...hugs
ReplyDeleteThey did Deb ... what a pain! Literally!
DeleteI've heard pickle juice is supposed to cure them quickly.
ReplyDeleteI have actually heard of that ... but I never think of it at the time. Maybe next time I'll remember.
DeleteTwo teaspoons of mustard. Straight out of the bottle. Settles down the muscle within a minute. It really helps.
ReplyDeleteWell that's one I've never heard of. Next time I'll try that.
DeleteLots of fun remedies to try. Can't wait to hear if the woman who earned it won the position?
ReplyDeleteI'll try anything when It comes to those leg cramps.
DeleteThanks Marlene!
ReplyDeleteI am surprised that Pat didn't tell you the same thing as Ken and Shirley did, that is to drink some pickle juice. A couple of swallows.
ReplyDeleteI never think of pickle juice ... and I usually have some. I'll try to remember that next time!!
