PROGRESS!!

Finally, some progress in my small world has allowed me to relax a little.  I called Miller Insurance Agency in Oregon for a quote on the motorhome insurance.  A very nice Roxanne said she would get back to me in a couple of days.  Interestingly enough, they recommend getting a roadside assistance program in ADDITION to their insurance.  Add on another couple hundred dollars.

The early morning full moon wasn't as pretty as a couple days before.  This is the worm moon?  Who names this stuff?

Then it happened .... a result of the full moon no doubt ... as I was putting the cake away, this piece just fell over like it died.  What?  All that beautiful frosting is now stuck to the cake platter.  We certainly can't have that, so I ate it.  I can't believe how good it was or what a huge stomach ache it gave me.
Other than insurance, calling the paver company back and looking for a pattern, there wasn't much on my schedule.  I called Raul first to let him know, hoping he would mention it to his boss ... then I called the boss.  Boss said okay, but didn't give me a day.   And so the wait begins!

In the meantime, I finished up this quilt top.  I really do like this pattern.
Not a great picture, but every time I opened the door for the puppies, this guy was singing like crazy.  Spring seems to be here and he's looking for his soul mate.  He literally sat in that acacia tree and sang all day long!!
That's when I noticed the bunny.  Unlike my metal ones, this one is real.  I can't figure out where they stay at night, but every morning now, he's drinking at my water station.
Spring is definitely here when you see these darn guys.  I spotted one, but by the time I got my camera, it was gone.  The next morning, 20 had taken it's place.  In no time, my lawn will be completely covered.  Time to get out my fork and dig up every one I can see.  118 later, I gave up and I have a SMALL yard.  Watch where you walk, because there are holes everywhere!!
If I can gather up enough energy, I'll be off to the Desert Museum this morning.  Rain is supposed to hold off until maybe 2:00.  I'm tired of sitting home and in photography withdrawal.  I'm hoping to come up with something cool to see.

For those unlucky few who are dealing with the time change, I feel for you.  I stay on Arizona time ALL the time, even when I'm in California.  It's so much easier that way!!

I saw a bunny yesterday morning too but I had so many pics that I had to leave him out. LOL
I understand the need to get out - today is my need to stay in and putter around home.

  4. Yummy looking cake. Wish one would fall on my floor :)) Save yourself some pain and buy fertilizer with dandelion killer in it. Kills them dead real quick. And they stay gone. Glad it's finally spring time in Tucson.
