I can't give it up now, I have too much money invested!!! Couple that with the fact that they are one side too big (needed for runs of over 10 miles) and you have two pounds of sand!!! LOL I'm sad too, that I won't get to see you guys this year .... it's definitely on my list for 2016!!!Nancy Kissackhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03225296192386107554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5818111637898313184.post-21088095476647953522015-08-13T00:53:06.596-07:002015-08-13T00:53:06.596-07:00Looks like you got lots of wind yesterday, judging...Looks like you got lots of wind yesterday, judging by the Xtra Vents I see in your pictures. Glad you enjoyed the kite flying again and didn't give up so easily. Funny, I was never an outdoors person; still not, except if I'm flying kites! Can't wait till WSIKF.

Joanna (dragonfish)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5818111637898313184.post-22996291364510753052015-08-12T11:54:38.986-07:002015-08-12T11:54:38.986-07:00Nancy, how is it that you had 2 ponds of sand in y...Nancy, how is it that you had 2 ponds of sand in your shoes and Nick only has 1/2 pound. Due his feet fill up more of his shoes more than you so there wasn't as much room in his shoes for more sand? Just wondering! Near as I can figure you have at least 3 Jim's that comment on your blog. Myself, Jim M. and another Jim. I'm the Jim from the Balloon Fiesta. Sad that you won't be there this year. But it was nice to see the kites up there...just wondered how a toy, which was around 50 cents back in the day with a tail made of torn material, has turned into such an expensive sport??? wow....Dave Burdick (GoingRvWay.com)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10706797381982584920noreply@blogger.com
