Good Morning from foggy California once again. My crazy rain dancing has not resulted in anything but foggy morning fog. It's hard to get things going when you look out and just see cold.
Same goes for Mr. Cooper. Once I sit down, he snuggles up and goes straight to la-la-land.
This one however ... is always into trouble with capital T. Right now she's trying to get into the cupboards in the quilting room behind me. This was her yesterday, looking all innocent. This was BEFORE she shoved most all of this stuff off the table onto the floor.
This morning she went to scratching on THIS chair ... so I moved the scratching post over to this side of the room, thinking maybe she didn't have enough room behind the other one. We'll see how that goes, but I have a feeling it won't last. What is up with CATS? Always into TROUBLE!!
Of course I called, thinking I would get someone from India who didn't speak English. What I got was an Australian accent. Woohoo!! I still couldn't understand him very well, but hey ... I can't turn down an accent like THAT!
Apparently they are short of money. Here's the deal. It's still $9.99 a month, but ONLY if you pay for one year at a time. They always figure out a way to SCREW YOU! Sorry, but I wasn't very happy about this. I use that program a lot, which of course they KNOW, so they figure out ways to get your money faster. I really don't want to be taking all my pictures with my phone instead of my expensive camera. And so I caved and paid it for one year.
That's when I asked where he was from. BELFAST he said. WHAT? He asked if I had ever been there. Nope ... never been to Europe. Went to China twice, Costa Rica, everywhere Mexico, Cancun and Mazatlan diving ... but never Europe. Probably not a good idea now anyway, since they control everything you say online ... for which you can go to jail. Next time I have to call Photoshop, I'm asking for the BELFAST accent!!
I spent the next two hours with this. Anyone know what it is? Patty Chance does. We used to use this thing so much that I have TWO of them. It's an ice cream machine. I don't know what prompted me to drag it out of the far reaches of the cupboard, but drag it I did.

Yummy...Homemade ice cream ! Living the good life.
ReplyDeleteSue
You betcha!! If we had snow, I would pour some of my Canadian Maple Syrup in it and eat that instead!!
DeleteHomemade ice cream...I'll be right over!
ReplyDeleteThe quilt is beautiful I love the bright colors.
Happy Saturday!
Frances:)
Come on down ... I have lots to share!
DeleteThe Ice Cream looks good.
ReplyDeleteCats can be trained to an extent. Videos show a guy beating a stuffed cat to stop the real one from knocking things off a shelf. I stopped our cats to stop clawing our furniture by smacking my hand loudly and shouting NO as I quickly moved towards them. After a while I simply said No in a raised voice. eventually they looked at me and went the other way. I never hit them, but they understood it was a no-no. The same goes for the in and out.
That quilt is looking good.
Stay Safe and Enjoy!
It's about time.
That's what I do .... yell NO!! She stops, so that's good.
DeleteGosh, where has January gone??? This past week especially, and frankly I have nothing to show for it...no major accomplishments, nothing! Life at 70 I guess...
ReplyDeleteSame ... no real accomplishments except a quilt here and there. That's okay though ... we did our share of accomplishing when we were younger! lol
DeleteMy big downfall in life, ice cream and your looks delicious. My favorite is Haagen Daz Vanilla, enjoying it right out of the carton!
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think the print for the border of your quilt is too large and it distracts from the beautiful center of the quilt. I like the narrow red border and would probably look for a smaller print with the same background color as the center. Good luck and take care.
Thank you SO much! I will see what I can find. I just never have a clue how to fix it!
DeleteNancy, you convinced me to try Dots, oh my are they good I have ti tell you....a lady in her kitchen in my small state of Nd created Dots.
ReplyDeleteThe honey mustard ones are my all time favorite! How fun to hear where they came from.
DeleteThe only time I have had homemade ice cream was at my daughters place and yeah it was nice, I do like ice cream
ReplyDeleteI'm a BIG fan of ice cream. I admit the expensive brands are the creamiest ... but homemade is quite nice too.
DeleteIt's that creamier texture that's made with all those additives.
ReplyDeleteBreyer's isn't even called ice cream any more. Love coffee flavored. Recently tried pistachio that grandma always had and us kids hated. Must be an adult thing. It's delicious.
I read the ingredients on Breyers, ewwwww!! I haven't heard of pistachio ... it sounds delicious!
