One time a customer found a small metal barb in their steak...looked like it came from a fence. They (the higher ups within the restaurant chain) came to the conclusion, based on finding by the FDA, that the steer had rubbed up against the fence, barb fell off embedding into the hip of the steer, which worked its way in. Not sure how it got through the metal detector at the meat processing plant...but gives a whole new meaning to a "rump roast".Dave Burdick (GoingRvWay.com)https://www.blogger.com/profile/10706797381982584920noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5818111637898313184.post-40672425502584188652016-11-24T07:40:03.053-08:002016-11-24T07:40:03.053-08:00Happy Thanksgiving, Nancy! Julie is truly an amazing young lady: working full time, baby under a year with another on the way, holding down the fort while Claudio is working the holidays keeping our community well, getting the house ready for the family dinner, prepping and cooking for our dinner and fitting in 2 more dinner obligations, one at 2 and another at 6. We eat at 4. Don't know how she does it. Feeling guilty having been down for the count with a kidney infection. Doing much better today though. Miss you and hope we will get together soon.<br />BarbaraBarbara & Tomhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11754814515841902406noreply@blogger.com
